I got a brand new Toyota Vios last year and it came with brand new bridgestone trading tires. When is the best time to get wheel alignment? The best time for wheel alignment is straight out of the factory. You cannot trust those factory people to get your car aligned. Waiting for your tire to show wear may mean already 50% of the tread is done for. Which happened to me by the way. Out the dealership is the first best time.
The 2nd best time for wheel alignment is when you buy brand new tires. You want the best mileage out of your brand new tires so get your wheels aligned. There’s toe alignment, camber alignment and caster alignment. It’s all computerized nowadays with fancy graphics on computer screens and fancy laser lights. Do not accept anything less.
There is a 3rd best time whenever you replace your under-chassis parts. Say you replace a shock absorber, or tie rod ends or any steering part. It’s only practical.
If you are veering to the left or right, the first thing you check is inflation on all 4 tires.
Oh yeah, make sure they align all 4 tires, not just the front.
